Preparation of an import permit Kazakhstan

Procedure for medicinal products and medical devices, which are registered or are not registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan, necessary for their import.

Types of import permits:

In accordance with Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. KR DSM-237/2020 (ҚР ДСМ-237/2020) dated 08 December 2020, it is possible to obtain an import permit:

For introducing innovative medical technologies

For purchasing of medical devices supplied by international organisations by a single distributor

For using a component that is part of the composition or that forms the structure of a medical device and not intended for independent use outside the composition or structure of the medical device

For providing humanitarian assistance in the cases determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan

For providing medical care of vital importance for a specific patient or patients with a rare and (or) especially severe pathology

For preventing and/or eliminating emergency consequences

For holding exhibitions of medical devices without the right to their further sale

For state registration, re-registration and making changes to the registration dossier

For clinical trials
